Mountains and Onions and Snow and Markets

Here are a bunch of pictures related to my last two blog posts, sorry for not posting them sooner!

This was a sunrise from my friend Mackenzie's house the morning before we went to Zermatt, I can't see mountains from Biel, but she lives near Bern

The Matterhorn!

This is taken from the "Little Matterhorn". See that cloud? That's the Matterhorn..

Taken a bit farther down the mountain, we played in the snow here for over an hour :]

So gorgeous!

At the Onion Festival! These are candy though :] You buy a huge long string and wear it as a necklace

Here are the onions :]

Onion Market also included lots and lots of confetti! My shoes are the gray ones, and the others are the exchange students I was with. :]

The Aarberg Weihnachtsmarkt! :]

Really pretty old bridge in Aarberg

Santa visits on December 6th here (St. Nicolas Day) but I think this guy stuck around a bit longer :]

Carousal in the Aarberg market. It was kind of scary, most of the horses had only half their tails, and there were some strange animals to ride, like a dog and a pig!

This is the church in the Biel "Old City"

Biel Altstadt is really colorful :]

Clock tower on the church in Biel and a Christmas tree

I just like this picture.. Blue sky, with some of the colorful Altstadt buildings. It was super cold that day though!

The view from my host family's kitchen window. :]

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

The snow stuck to all the trees making them so pretty. :]

Ipsach is right in the middle there, but it's probably to hard to see ;]
